What sensor is this?

Somehow it ended up laying on my drivers side header, so a piece of it melted. I have no clue what it is, and I've spent a few minutes looking through Shoebox's site. I'm on dialup right now so I could have missed it though.

Thanks in advance!

Probably something in the AIR system.

Yeah, it looks like it, but I still need to know what it is so I can order one.

What's odd, is the connector looks like an injector clip.

Does not look like anything on my 1995 Z28. Do you have traction control?
Maybe another pic showing more stuff around it would help.

No traction control, and there's really nothing else around it. IIRC it's bolted to the drivers head on my friend's 97, but he has no clue what it is either and mine has always been hanging since I bought the car.

Are those vacuum lines attached to it? Plus as mentioned before, something that looks a lot like an injector connector?..

Is it a firebird or trans am? are the pop up lights operated via vacuum on those cars?

Otherwise, not a clue..

Driver side head... in the back? maybe part of the EGR system?

Only thing I know that bolts to the driver side head is a coolant sensor

Driver side head in the front, yes the vaccum lines run the the driver side of the intake manifold.

It's a Formula, but the lights aren't actuated via vacuum anyways.

Two vacuum lines then? So would it be safe to assume that its a selenoid of some sort?

If so where do the two vacuum lines trace back to? One is probably the intake, what about the other?

Intake as well IIRC.

I'm running a big CNC machine right now making Airplane wing assembly's. As soon as my machine stops, I'll go take some more pictures.

It's just kinda laying in the front. Somehow after my header swap it ended up resting on the header and I didnt' see it.

Executioner has his engine out, but he has the same sensor too.

You still haven't specified where the vacuum lines originate from other than maybe the intake, but what about the other lines/connector? I see four things comming off of that gadget. Where are they coming from? Is one of those wires coming from the optispark?
