Stroker build, local or purchase complete set up.
I was wondering which is a better route to go. I have been tossing between H/C and a stroker set up for a long time, and was wondering if it would be better to have a local place do it, and probably not warrenty the work, but save a couple bux, or buy a short block from golen, or another place that has a warrenty, and assemble the top end myself.
My car has 27K miles. Would you
A:Save for a stroker, and do it all at once.
Or
B: Do a H/C set up for a good amount less and wait till it spins a bearing or EXPLODES!!
I want a stroker so bad, or some more power, but I can't get myself to pull the trigger on either option.
Input please!

I had mine done locally by an honest guy that I know.
He has provided follow-up adjustments and priceless support.
I'd have gone with one of the reputable sponsors if there had
been no local option. Not everyone has a reputable honest local
builder.
