I went to track today, and could only get a 13.5 wit a 2.0 60 ft on street tires. When my car shifts into third, and sometimes second, it bounces ioff the limiter, and takes about a second and a half to shift. Its killin my 1/4 time. I think its the tune. What else could it be? It shifts around 6300 rpm into third

 

Sounds like the transmission is having some trouble. Mine was bouncing off on the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift too, then I had it rebuilt by frank@CPT and all is good now.

EDIT: It also could be in your tune. Maybe lower the shift point or raise the rev limiter a little bit.

Sounds like a slipping tranny, nothing related to the tune. Looks like its time for a rebuild.

Maybe, maybe not. Mine did that when I was running into valve float. Dropped the shift point a little and all was well untill the new valve springs where put in.

 

Check your fluid level too.. I had low fluid and topping it up a tad made a world of differance

 

Ill try the fluid, and talk to bryan about the tune. Hope my tranny isnt goin, but it sounds like it is. Thanks
