Putting my trans back, and I've got two bolts that won't tighten due to stripped threads in the housing....

Any way to fix these threads while on the car?

Does anyone have a good source for a new flywheel housing? Can they still be bought new?

Depending on how stripped the threads are, you might be able to fix them with a thread tap.

Also, found some stuff about helicoil, does anyone know the bolt size for the transmission to flywheel bolts --and what kit I would need?
