4500 USD is alot of cake for a 13 year old F-Body, just months ago people had offers hand over foot.

If it makes you feel any better, the driver's side head HAD to be pulled in order to get the broken manifold studs out (that's right, there were TWO, not just one like he said). That's a lot of work. But it was still worth it.

I would seriously look into 1stz28's car, it looks like a smoking deal. He sent me pics, looks very clean! Plus you get the updated 97 interior which I like. No t-tops though.
