Plug Gap on my setup?

Alright, I got the NGKTR55IX = Iridium version. I looked in a book, POS said 35, I know stock is 50. I already installed them @ 35, I can easily take them out, think I should pull them and do 50? My setup is pretty wild and N/A. It should be making alot of power and at the moment the car is running a lil rich. I dont have my injectors installed yet and about to get it tuned so what gap should I go for?

You should be fine leaving it where they are at .35 - especially with than higher compression

Having them gapped at .035 is not going to hurt anything, and is where many people run them at, no matter what the brand.

So I should be good with my compression. Yea I didnt think it would hurt but didnt know if Id get more juice out of them with a bigger gap. I know it is better to have them less for detonation. A softer core needs the big gap because they will get hot and eventually close if they get too hot.

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I understand what your saying. What's a soft core? And I have never heard of a plug closing up by itself unless something destructive happened to an engine and the heat was so intense that the plug started to melt. Are you running a top fuel motor or something along those lines?

You may get a tad bit more power out of it with a bigger gap.

But the trade-offs are:
-larger chance of detonation
-more likely for the spark to blow out
-optispark has to work harder to fire them
-better chance of them fouling out
-etc.

so if i were you, then i would keep them where they are at
