Question Mystery hose????

I noticed today that I have what appears to be a vacuum hose that has come loose, but I can not seem to find where the other end goes. The end that is attached is connected to what looks like a little black box with a connector on the drivers side,up front, below the exhaust manifold.Any ideas as to what it may hook too???Thanks

May need a more exact description of where it is and/or a pic. I'll guess it is one of the devices for the AIR pump.

I'll try to get a pic. I have looked and I still can't find where that dang thing connects to. It has a little cone shaped thing attached to the other port, kind of like the one on the opti, but it not connected to anything either.

Where at in NC are you? If you are close to me you can check my car out and see if I have the same hose since I have a 97 motor in mine.
