Upgrading to 96 ICM and Coil

Jus talked to Dal this morning and he told me he doesn't like my combo. I upgraded to a 96 vented opti with my new engine. He told me that I must run the 96 coil and ICM as well or I'll have probs. Have any of you guys done this? I am understanding these items have different plugins and that I will have to modify the wiring harness. Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

Thats not right. You can have the vented opti and still have the older coil setup.

Figured as much. I guess I am reaching for a solution. Got the all too common runs like **** when warm. God I hate this prob.
