Is this comp cam setup going to work?

So I picked up some comp cam 986 springs a way while back, and they're not going to work with my application.

So I took them back and picked up some comp 978 valve springs.

My question... I have the 978 springs, 740 steel retainers, and 611 11/32" 10 degree valve locks.

So will the 740 retainers, and 611 locks work with the 978 springs?

You will need to get the correct locator(comp #4771-16) for the bottom and then measure what the installed height comes out to, those springs call for 1.850" to get 130# on the seat, I think you will need either +.050" locks or +.050 retainers to reach that number.

How much lift?
