Headers and Emssions Testing

I think I want headers on the car but it is street driven and we have emissions testing in Illinois. What headers would be best and do you recommend stainless or coated? The car is stored for winter. ThanksBy the way it is a convertilble with an automatic transmission

If you have testing, it would be easist to just get a set of shorties or mid-lengths with the emissions hookups and that will maintain the stock style y-pipe.

i used to have my car registered in jersey, and they had some pretty ****ty emissions. they would bust you for anything. i put headers on my old car anyways. if you are worried about passing, find a garage that will pass you regardless of what is done to your car. as for headers go for ceremic coated. keeps heat in header tubes and makes gases flow faster
