Putting in new heater hoses, can I eliminate my TB bypass line???

.....Hello everyone, hope you all had a fantastic Turkey Day! ;()..... I'm redoing my heater hoses & want to just eliminate the TB bypass line. I don't see how this will be a problem, but will it be??? In other words just imagine doing a TB bypass & plugging off both ends instead of hooking them together..... Is this ok???? Thanks a bunch everyone, Bill

I am going to assume that the hoses for a '94 Trans Am are the same for those of a '94 Camaro (correct me if I'm wrong). To rid of one of the hoses, you can replace the large radiator hose that runs from the drivers side with the hose from the '95 model year. The hose is identical except it doesn't have the TB hose coming off.

The remaining portiong of the throttle body hose that runs near the bleeder screw, I would use some creativity to put a plug in its place so that you can retain the bleeder.

Thats what I did for mine and after 500 miles it is holding up fine... My creative genius was to cut a 2" peice of hose and jam a 1" metal slug with a hose clamp on it. It aint prett but it works just fine

Just get the 95-7 radiator hose that doesn't have the 'wye' for the TB hose...
Also, there is a bleeder pipe that you can get from GM that is straight, and has no 'tee' like the 93-4 does[again it's for 95-7..]
GM p/n 10262478 $35.07 GM list.. I got one for about $17 from Jason Cromer..last year or so..

....THANK YOU Everyone, ok, I just jammed a bolt in the small hose that's T'ing off of the radiator hose & then put a clamp around it. This will hold until I get around to getting a '95-'97 hose. BUT on the other end I just ran a straight hose to the heater fitting on the firewall. So I need to put a 'bleed valve' in there. I will get one from Jason Cromer.... Does anyone have his phone number handy??? Thanks Again , Bill
