ok my 94z28 will crank when cold it just does not start right up have to let it turnover for 15 sec or so then runs fine till it gets to operating temp then it start running bad tack jumpimg around injectors going on and off fan going on and off then if i turn the key on without it running the tack is going nuts and the injectors are going nuts everything under the hood is going nuts abs making noise ...then if i let it set for about ten min then it starts ..and does the same thing after a couple min and when its dieing the it sometime will backfire through the intake like the thing is firing out of order ...Please help if you have had this problem and what could it be ...the auto parts store said it sounds like my ecu is bad ...

yea all but the pcm ground wire..it all happends when it goes into closed loop ..found that the evap canister line was off . put it back on still same problem .and i do have a secuity setup up on the car that was there when i bought with the keypad that you have to punch in the code to start the car..woundering if that could be my problem ..but why is it only happing when it goes into closed loop...runs great in open loop exept for hard start up
Have you checked you battery terminals? Obveously make sure they are tight, but also check to see if the terminal isn't broke inside of the battery. A bad battery will cause all sorts of goofy electrical issues.

have you tried to pull codes from the computer? do you have access to a scan tool to see what it is doing it goes hinky? (things like watching o2s, battery volts, etc).
well looks like its the opti every thing else checked out. wont even run at all now. not sparking as often as it should ..Guess the opti tells the injectors when to fire and now the tack quit jumping around when trying to start.Cause the opti finaly gave up ...
