Does an ignition box do any good on a h/c car?

Does an ignition box do any good on a h/c car?
I'm probably going to take off my nitrous and was wondering if I should sell my ignition box too or keep it on the car. Is the stock ignition system with an MSD coil good enough for a 420rwhp h/c car?

I would keep the ignition box if you've got 420 rwhp. The higher combustion pressure warrants a hotter spark.
