My new starter solenoid get stock in on rrgh!!!
My starter die, so I got a new from advance-auto (One of those rebuilt)
I changed the starter and when I cranked the car, the solenoid got stock in on. The only way to kill it was to disconnect the battery.
So I return it! (BTW the guy at the store tested the starter and said it was fine). I went ahead and bough a Acdelco from GM, and the car was acting fine for a few starts until so i took it to work and when I tried to start it the thing got stock again
!!!! I tried finding a fuse to stop the sob but it die before I could find something
any ideas?

it has to be either your ignition key switch sticking in the on position or you have your power and ignition wires touching against each other on the starter itself. Possibly when you crank the engine over the wires come loose and touch causing it to keep spinning. I wouldn't think it would be the ignition switch b/c once it was stuck I would think it would always be stuck. It is also very easy to test a starter by just jumping it against the battery. Check for power on your two wires that connect to the starter and go from there. just my .02
