Single Plane project finally completed...

Hey guys, just wanted to throw out a quick pic of my sort-of LT1 build. I still call it an LT1 because it has an LT1 block and WP housing but thats about it. Car was just dropped off from Thunder Racing. Big thanks goes out to Shane from Thunder for getting this baby finished. Intake conversion was by BRE.

Nice to see its done!!!!

When they do some WOT runs look for vacuum at WOT and see what you get, if all is going right you should see no more than .5", if there is more something is a restriction. That bellows might be a restriction the way it sits now.

Your car is very impresive! Great Job! Are you using a R/A hood or a cowl? And what kind of throttle body is that?

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Bret, I actually wanted to talk to you about a few things. I'll give you a call in the next couple days.

The hood is the factory WS6 hood. You can just make out a small amount of modification that needs to be made to the underside of the hood for the SuperVic to fit. I didn't mill the elbow down any, which could have bought another 1/4" to 3/8" of clearance.

The throttle body is a Nick Williams 90mm LS1 TB.

Ron, looks GREAT. I was planning on running it into my LS1 induction as well. I would look into a Aluminum pipe from the TB to the LID.
I bet that would look AWESOME.

The first things are to replace the temporary bellows on there with an aluminum hard pipe and then some tweaking of the setup
.

OOppps, didn't see that, lol

Great minds think alike

I see you clearanced the hood. It looks kind of as if you were to remove just the structural portion at the back or at least clearance it, the whole thing would fit under the stocker...

Have any pics of that?

Looks great. Have you done a before/after dyno of the intake swap yet?

How much did the intake swap cost you in total? [Parts, labor, ect]

What's the difference between the Super Vic and Vic Jr.?
