52mm TB worth it in this sense?
I SEARCHED!! lol
Injuneer has reportedly said that his 58mm throttle body flowed 100% the engine needed at 77% throttle. That is on his amazing setup...I don't even have half of that...plus I have stock heads till summer. Some say the stocker will support 400 rwhp, but they are a minority and I find myself presenting you this question:
- I have a 125 N20 shot, headers, CAI, cat-back, and other bolt-ons that don't affect airflow...
- I have a xE 224/230 cam getting ready to be put in with 1.6rr's and the works...including a mail-order until I get my dyno runs in.
I got a super sweet deal that I can ****** up a 52mm TB on the cheap. I don't really care to spend the money if I am "just going to need it in the future"....but if it will help me now, great. The seller says 10 rwhp is what he got on my exact setup on stock heads with the 224/230 cam. That's worth it in my opinion.
Worth the $125??
