Gauging interest in 17" ZR1's for sale

I have 2 sets of ZR1 wheels I am interested in selling. I believe they are all 17x9" and they are all painted aluminum/silver.

One set is original GM/SLP and the other is an aftermarket knock-off/replica.

Both sets are in excellent condition and well cared for. They are both sets of 4 wheels.

What are these worth these days? Are the original GM wheels bringing in more than the replicas?

Thanks
Dave

I didn't take any pics yet, one set is actually still in use on the car. I can take some pics within the next day or so, but again I wanted to gauge interest and value so I can figure out what I have to work with.

I am looking to purchase black ZR1s.

why not have the set your arent using powdercoated black. then when they are done swap them on your car and sell the silver set for 300-500 depending condition and if you have tires to sell with them. if the tires you have on the wheels are junk leave them mounted to the wheel, they protect the wheel if you have to ship them.

Re: Gauging interest in 17" ZR1's for sale

I thought about that.. It really depends on how much it will cost me to get the powdercoating done & if there is anyone local to me who will do it. I found the black Zr1 replicas on e-bay for under $500. I figured those would still be better than powercoating a used wheel... But if the cost is a lot less to just have these done, then I can do that.

In the meantime if I could indeed get 300-500 for the ones I have I'd be in business

Thanks

ya i dont think you'd get $500 for silver ZR1's, in my opinion, it doesnt matter if they are GM or replicas, i kind of actually like the replica's mroe bc they are wider, I've had both replicas and GM zr1's, if they are in mint contition, i think you could pull about 300-400, if you had chrome, you could bring in a pretty penny

I do have a chrome set, but those are staying put on my black car

The black powdercoats will go on my silver car

I found someone locally to do the powdercoating at a reasonable price, now I have to decide which set to have done.

Thanks
Dave

$400 for the GM set

$300 for the knockoffs

After all if the GM set isn't worth more than the knockoffs then what's the point?

Thanks
Dave
