New 18's - What do you think?
Just put on my new 18" ZR1's. Still working on center caps and lug nut covers.
Have a look look -
http://groups.msn.com/GMsFbody/30thz28.msnw?Page=2
I like them - I was against changing wheels on this car, but I could not stand the 16's any more, so I think this is a good solution to retain the stock look while going for a more modern style at the same time.
I know it currrently looks like a monster truck (I went with 275/40's becasue I didn't want 35 series rubber bands) so I gained about 3/4" overall height. I do have my Hotchkis springs sitting in my garage waiting to install for a 1" drop.

Re: New 18's - What do you think?
Thanks for the comments - I have the center caps, its just that they came silver instead of white - so I painted the outside white and left a bit of silver around the Corvette flags. I was thinking of the white SS center caps, but I don't want to make it look like I am trying to fool people into thinking it is an SS.

Well, since the board is pretty dead, I will throw this update out there.
I put my new Hotchkis kit in - new 1" drop springs, new front and rear swaybars, new lower control arms, new panhard rod, and new strut tower brace.
Now the 18's look proper - and to all those who say 275/40/18's don't work, I would tend to disagree - 273/35/18's do retain stock overall diameter, but I think these 274/40/18's fill up the wheel wells very nice.
