CC305 in a 1997 z28, whats the size of the dowel pin?
I am blowing opti's after 2 weeks of use. I am hearing it may be the dowel pin, can someone tell me what size i need or any help at all.

I thought it was .650 approx. from the end of the cam to the end of the pin. If you didn't cut the pin down at all then thats probably your problem.

This is straight from shoebox's website.
"GM specs indicate that the dowel should be .620" long (protrusion from the front face of the cam) for the vented optispark. Some people have said it is supposed to be .685". Mine was actually .650" and still was in no danger of bottoming out in the optispark drive"
