Exhaust Question

What kind of #'s am I looking at loosing (hp&tq) if I were to run 2.5" duals instead of 3" duals with LT's on my forged 383 with nitrous (200shot).

240/244 .595/.595 Cam
Heads P&P 2.02/1.60

12:6:1 Compression

its hard to nail a number down, but you'll loose some. also depends on muffler selection. i'd use 3 inch. sometimes too small of a pipe can be raspy or more raspy at least than its larger counterpart.

hmmm well with me running pacesetter lt's and then the summit x pipe kit how would I got about hooking the pipeing up to the header since they both will be 3inch?

weld flanges on the collectors of the headers and one end of the x pipe, or take the x pipe to an exhuast shop and have them expand one end of the x pipe so its big enough to slip over the 3 inch collector
