Loud Clicking Sound...

Before you say that this has been asked, let me tell you that my engine was NOT on when this occured.

I was sitting in my car today, trying to fix my center console, one of the many things the dumba$$ previous owner broke, and I heard a strange, loud clicking sound coming from somewhere in the engine. The car was not started and hadn't been since yesterday, but I was listening to music, so the electricity was on. I popped my hood and tried to find its location, but it stopped. Just wondering if I should be worried.

if it was a click and nothing was on but the accesories then I would most liekly say its a relay of some kind.

I had something similar happen and couldn't figure out where the hell the clicking was coming from... It might be your odometer. Sometimes it gets stuck and "clicks". Reset it and see.

Hmm, well thanks for the input. Sounds like it's nothing to worry about. I won't explode. Yay.
