Are Camaro V6 front signal lights different then Z28 and SS?

Hello Everyone, I Purchased A Euro Clear Bumper Light On Ebay And It Stated That It Fits Years 93-02. When I Received The Lights It Seems To Be Way Too Big For My 2001 Camaro V6? Are The Lights Itslef Suppose To Be Big? I'm A Little Confused, I'm Not Sure If These Lights Fit My Car. Can Anyone Help Me Out With This? I Have 7 Days To Return This And If This Is The Correct Light Please Let Me Know How To Install It. Thank You Everyone.

Is it hard to install? Do I need to get under my car to install the lights?

Just remove the one bolt that holds the headlight and pull the headlight out. Then just remove the 4 screws that hold the lenses in, wrestle with it for a bit, then just put in the new one.

It's a bitch to get in, but once it's in, it looks great. And hell yeah it'll fit.

Just be careful to not pull the wires too hard 'cause I guess I did and had to pay $300 to get the wires all checked because I had a short from it.. blah..

its really easy on 97+ cars, they have 2 little bolts on each side u take off, from underneath... then 2 (or 3) screws on the light fixtures inside the nose of ur car, then just unplug the lights...

take ur time, it'll take no more than 45 minutes, and thats being really really slow and careful... i can do them in 10 mins for both sides....

Finnaly got the lights in, took me more than 45 minutes. Lets just say it took way too long. It was a biatch taking those lights out especially the driver side. I had to shave off half an inch of metal to get the light in. I had to break the stock light to get it out but there was no way I was gonna break my euto light.

I used a dremel to shave the peace of metal off. On the passenger side it looked like it was already shaved off. But finally got it in though and it looks great. Thanks guys!

Now I'm thinking of putting a fan switch but lmperformance told me that I'll need a hypertech programmer. Is this true?

Ahh, you should've did what I did... took some pliers or something and bent that b*tch straight instead of cutting it with the dremel...

It was a biitch to do but worth it...

you don't need hypertech for a fan switch

I tried pliers and trust me that metal was tough. The only way to me to do it was to shave it off. But the car looks great with them hu? hahaha!

Thanks mustangeater, maybe that guy some lmperformance just trying to get more money out of me. So basically the fan switch which sells on lmperformance would all that I would need right? Does the fan switch work well with a thermostat?

Mine took like two hours (including an hour rain delay :-p) so really like an hour. I didn't shave any metal away but I definatly chopped out some styrofome. The passenger side was way easier for some reason.

u certainly dont need a hypertech, ur almost looking to waste ur money here...

search about manual fan switches, understand what they do, and u'll see that u dont need a hypertech (it'd be one or the other, this way is a lot cheaper)
2, maybe get a cooler thermo......3, ur pm's are full, my switch sold a long time ago... u could easily build (or maybe pay a friend or parent to do it) a manual fan switch... there are plenty of schematics on the web
