Mind telling us why the SES is on? And besides ignition, when was the last time you changed your fuel filter?

I would take it to a shop and get the computer scanned to find out what that code is before trying to diagnose/spend money on possible fixes.

Autozone can only do OBDII, the car in question is a 95, so it's OBDI or OBD 1.5.

Just take it to a local shop and ask how much to hook up a scan tool to pull the code. Much easier than using the paper-clip trick, and the mechanic will most likely give you a few ideas as to what would fix whatever is causing the code.
