Question A question about dual exhaust sound.

Hi, people.
I have a Borla cut back on my V-6 Camaro. I noticed that my left pipe sounds much louder then my right pipe. Can someone explain me why?
I also heard there are some kind of plates I can insert into the exhaust tips.

Thank you for your help,
Max

Re: A question about dual exhaust sound.

The borla system has a y-pipe after it comes over the rear axle. One side of this y goes through the muffler and out of the tip on the driver's side. The other side of the y goes straight out of the tip on the passenger side. There are 3 or 4 different plates that come with a borla, ranging from completely closed to completly open. Grab a flashlight and look up the passenger tip to see what plate you have. IIRC the plate is only 6-8" from the tip.
