Please, I need some help badly

ok, yesterday I put in the green coolant not knowing that I put Dex-Cool. So I drained it out using the drain plug underneath the radiator. Then I flushed it out using a hose and ran water through it to flush it. So then I go to put the right coolant in and I pour it into the overflow, am i supposed to put it in the overflow or the in the radiator. I didnt know at the time so I poured it in the overflow. Then as I go over to the side of the car i noticed ALL the coolant drained out and went down the driveway DAMN. So what did I do wrong, I put back the lower drain plug. So how did it come out, the hoses are still good...do what could of happened?

coolant filling problems...

fill the rad with a mixture until its full, then wait a couple minutes for it to settle, refill as necessary, replace the cap and fill the resevoir with coolant to the low mark. as far as it running out of the resevoir, the lines could be reversed, the line from the rad to the res should go to the bottom of the res. the open line from the top of the res should be the one stuff runs out of onto the ground.
