Here is my situation. I am running hooker longtubes. The issues comes in with my spohn torque arm. The mounting position of the torque arm across the tunnel restricts the size of y pipe. I tried a mufflex and it rattled and banged so bad I sized it down to 3" to 3 1/2" flowmaster Y pipe. This reduced the clearance problems a little but not much. Here is where my question comes in. I am thinking of going with a Dr. Gas Y pipe which is a little smaller than the flowmaster but retains the 3" to 3 1/2" sizing. I am restricting my exhaust due to this setup so I am thinking of using two cut outs in the y pipe, right after the longtube collectors to help with the restriction. Am I heading in the right direction??????
