i have been looking for a place that sells a slp polished or chrome cai. for a 97 z28. i have been looking all over and i cant find this part. i also wont the vortech polished elbow. does anyone know where i can find these two parts at. thanks in advance

you can get the elbow through summit and the cai you can get right from slp

i just checked out slp's web site and i didnt see anything at all about the polished or chrome cai. only the black ones.

 

You are thinking of the GMPP CAI, it is the same as the SLP except it comes polished. You have to get it either used from someone who had it as an option on their camaro or you can get it from a GM dealership that has some left. They are very rare though. Another option would be to just buy an SLP, strip the paint and polish it yourself.

 

damn i was hoping that i could just buy one already done. i guess i will be doing a lot of polishing or maybe i can find a chromer somewhere that can just chrome it for me.
