Angry Shop scrooged my exhaust.. help!!

I just got my car back today from having a SPEC stage 2 put in. The clutch feels fine, save for the transmission bouncing up and down, going to complain about that later..

What really ticked me off was the fact that my exhaust is now totally off kilter!! My left side pipe sticks out about 4 more inches that it did, and now the muffler is laying almost under my panhard rod... what gives?!! Believe me, they'll hear about that one too.

That aside, i'm in NY and the government is going to start putting cars on computers for inspection purposes, and i've already been hassled about my exhaust by the state police.. SO, i want to make my car legal by putting catalytic converters back on, but i have edelbrock shorty headers, and the Y-pipe i believe is a MAC.

The intermediate pipe is not madrel bent, it's got the little creases in it and it was custom, it's not hung right, it looks terrible etc etc, so i want a new one.

Basically, is there an aftermarket setup that i can use that won't break my wallet?? I do have a shop close enough that will do 3" pipe, so the intermediate won't be too much of a hassle, but if i can get it pre-bent it would be easier for me.

Long story short, i need a Y pipe with cats that will work with edelbrock shorty headers. I've seen the random technology units, but don't feel like dropping 500+ dollars on it.. am i dreaming about doing this cheaper or am i gonna have to suck it up??

Thanks in advance,
Ticked off Tim
