Those Pontiac Supercharged GTP's are a nice ride, just not sporty enough looking. Still better than most cars on the road.

cool, go get a new pully for it those L67 engines can take a lot of abuse, from what i hear, i just wish i could bolt up that supercharger (intake) to my my engine... the one time i'm annoyed about having a rear wheel drive car... (with the availablity of a supercharger like that, which would bolt up )

Very nice.

I was considering getting one of those for my wife to carry the kids around in.

We ended up getting a 98 Blazer LS though.

Not nearly as much performance - but the 4.3L in the Blazer is a torquey engine.
Plus it can go up mountains.

I just know that my wife would want to mod the GTP if we got it anyhow - and then the race would have been on.
Can't have my wife driving a faster car than me.

I saw one at the track a couple years ago. At the time I knew nothing about them so I don't know if it was stock or not, but he was running consistent 14.2's at 99mph. I was impressed for such a plush car and FWD.

Good luck with your new toy.

Alot of the can run 14.2 stock, but the norm is around 14.5. I myself run a 13.6@102 in my 02 GTP with a 3.4" pulley, CAI, u-bend delete and catback exhaust and Autolite 104 spark plugs. It is very easy to mod a GTP because they respond so well to mods with the blower. I plan to add SLP headers 1.9.1 roller rocker arms and a PCM and maybe a 3.25" pulley. That will no doubt get me to the low 13s althought i hope to pull a high 12 with my slicks.
