Smile Ellis is the man!!!!

My car was resurected Easter Sunday thanks in part to Ellis. I haven't had her the last two summers do to legal and financial troubles. I have communicated to Ellis over the last few months and finally stacked away enough cash for one of his rebuilds. This car has never driven so nicely. I drove it for a while with the crap tranny and to put it mildly, it really sucked. I had to baby it. Not anymore! I absolutely hate working on cars, but pulled the tranny and put it in myself, almost. Ellis took time out of his Valentine's Day with Stephanie to come to my house, after several calls to him with questions, and assist me in pulling it out. That is above and beyond what I expected, and I really do appreciate it. Thanks again Ellis. You da' man!!!

I know Ellis pretty well too. I have been bugging him on line for the last 4yrs or so & bugging him in person for about the same amount of time. At least every time I see him at the track, swapmeet, car show Or at another PNWCC memebers house.

All you gotta do is head over that thing they call a "border crossing" I know we've tried to get more BC guys to swing by for a race day but with little luck. Mission or Pacific Raceways, either way it's a long drive for one of us... and a aweful long tow if something breaks at the track.

Pick a CCC day and there's a good chance we'll have him out at the track. Although it would be cool (and safer) to set up a 30+ F-body cruise. Meet up near Everett, swing out to Monroe, and back through Redmond over the floating bridge and into Seattle / I-5.

Anyway... yeah, Ellis used to be pretty cool... but he cut off the ponytail.

Thanks Guys and Gals.

I am very happy You like the trans Dave. I love hearing that The Converter is some thing I came up with for my Wifes car and it worked out real well.

I am hoping when they build the Race trace in Marysville they add a drag strip. then we all will have a better, closer place to hook up and race albeit in the US.

Sorry it took a while to see this. I do not come here to often anymore. Steph and I are pretty busy theise days and are slowly working on www.nwfbody.com to get it up and running. No Bulliten board but a place to show case cars. we have a 5g a day cap so no vids.

We are still working on a logo and some small stuff but will be asking people for info if they want there own page soon.

Later all and enjoy!
