Who uses Zaino?

well i gave in to temptation and bought the starter kit from Mrak.

very nice guy and very helpful.. i musta called this guy a milltion times and he was still happy to guide me through. thanks man.

i always like the colour of my car but i never really appreciated how beautiful it actually is till today. i spent the whole long weekend detailing this bad boy. i started with the z18 clay bar on friday and then i put 3 coats of z2 on sat.. and so far ive put one coat of z5 this morning. WOW. i took out in the sun and there were almost no swirl marks and it filled in alot of the little scratches and what not. i also used the z6 inbetween every coat.

the only downside was that it was a real pita to buff out.. the sh¡t just would not come out with out a fight! have any of you zaino users dealt with this? the first coat of z2 i put on came out pretty easy. but then it was starting to become a real annoyance.

overall.. im extremely happy with the outcome.

Hey Amit ,

Sometimes if the coats are too close together , put on a little too thick or not alowed long enough time to dry It will make act how you describe when you go to remove it . Best is to go have a beer and watch the game for a bit and then go back to it and give it a buff . I find the first coat I can throw on and take off quickly . On the second coat I give it a bit longer and the third I let sit for an hour or so . Seems to work ok for me. Also make sure your cloth insnt getting the tiny zaino ***** all over it , makes it harder to buff out.

I was told you should Z5 and then Z2 for shine . It doesnt screw anything up it just z5 is the deep swirl filler and the z2 is the slippy looking stuff . . . . . . . I think ?

Wax on . . . . Wax off . . . .

When I first started using Zaino I spread it on a little too thick. Once you master the application technique you can get 4 coats or more out of a 2 ounce bottle. No buffer needed just 100% made in the USA white cotten towels or microfibre towels. The Z10 leather conditioner is the best smelling stuff I have ever used on my leather and dash. Hey Mrak, I need a bottle of Z2, Z6 and Z15. Give me a call brow.

I thought the same thing, can't argue with the masses. It has UV protection too.

Zaino is great... if you have a garage or carport and a second car.

If you don't have both of those, it's a waste. I used to use it, but single car, outdoor parking... doesn't make it practical to apply on the Z.

Zaino? Eck, too much work, too much hassle, too damn expensive, and not enough positive results for the effort. If I had a garage queen, then the stuff is great. Seriously! On a daily driver? Forget it. I can achieve the same results for less money and a heck of a lot less work.
I know this goes against the Zaino credo, especially here at CZ28 where Zaino is treated like mana from Heaven, but I gave Zaino more than a fair shake and I don't think I have been more disappointed in a product or the customer service in my life. Total let down. I have a fair bit left collecting dust in the garage. Lucky me.
