Its Almost time before I can
Well I have only a few more days before I can Offically sell my 82 Pace car.
Heres some information on it.
Its a 1982 Indy Pace car Project car NEEDS A GOOD HOME
CFI (Crossfire Injection)
Disc brakes car (only about 25% of the Pace cars were made with 4 disc brakes so this is a rare car)
needs new interior (totally new interior)
We have New brakes for it & some other minor stuff for it.
Pics
I am asking $2k USD OBO
CLEAN Washinton Title
I have a guy that I have been waiting for since Jan to come make a payment on it & I have given him until April 15th or I can sell it to who ever.
I will not ship & the car is NOT driveable due to bad brakes & Rotors.
Email me If interested.

Crossfire!! Cool...........
Would make a fun restoration project............or possibly a nice 1/4 mile'er with a new engine.
Is it financially profitable if the person spent the time and money to restore it?

The body is Straight & Only two holes in the engine compartment.
Needs new paint & New interior thats about it.
I have Priced out the Interior & it be about $700 USD thats everything including the Seats which are $300 for a set of seats & the door panels (only a couple companies sell these other wise it be like 4X that to recover the seats).
The only problem with the engine is that its needs some work since Its been sitting for about 2years with out being really started.
Oh one thing I forgot is its in "The Offical Chevrolet Pace car" Book shes the 3rd one they found with 4 Disc brakes. So really a Gem.
I dont have the time NOR the money to spend on her since my husband went out & got him a 67 Stepside pick up. Along with maintaining our other 5 cars/trucks (7 in total that we own).

Hey everyone is intitle to them own opion. but mines the only one that counts (jk)
As long as we're tossing opinion's around........
Even though the 82's may not be the prettiest of the 3rd gens, I would take any 82 - 92 over a late (75'+) 2nd gen.
Chevrolet had a winner back in 81 when they debuted the 82.
It was the car to have - they sold an incredible amount.
That car would be nice to have and just keep if it was in decent shape.........I'm sure you would be doing just that if it was.
I wonder how rare it is exactly?
Do you know the numbers?

Well there were only 6,363 of the Indy pace cars made that year. only 6,360 were sold. 2 of the 3 that were NOT sold were 350 cars & they went to the winner & in to a collection at GM.
I dont know how many were sold with the CFI that year. But I do know that only 25% of the pace cars Made (including the two made pace cars for the race) were 4 disc brakes. 10% were shipped to Canada. Other then that I dont know.
This car is listed in the "Offical Chevrolet Pace car"Book on page 181 & is the 3rd one from the top. They messed On the vin & put an A in the 6th spot Its suppose to be an 8. there is only 22 listed in the book to have disc brakes.

Again I ask for what? The Pace car or for a 3rd gen?
The body alone is worth $5k right now. & it will only take $1,800 to get the car almost show worthy (not including the paint job)

There is an old phrase my Mum told me."If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all".
Hate to be a p**ck guys, but Sid and Todd have not really added anything of real benefit to their comments. If you do not care for the car then there is no benefit in making your opinion known except unsulting the owner.
Not neccessary

74-77 were the steel bumper single tail light ones, those are the not so good ones, but early and late 2nd gens are nice
