LT1 Ram Air Duct

I need the piece that comes off the throttle body, straight across into the ram air box on my radiator support. Does anyone have one off a LT1 Trans Am ram air or know of a place that sells the setup?

Are you talking about the piece before or after the MAF?? If it's the piece before the MAF, you can get a VERY suitable piece at Home Depot or Lowes in the plumbing section. You'd want the 3" X 3" Fernco rubber coupler. It comes with band clamps for about $5.00.

If it's the piece that goes from the MAF to the Airbox, I can't help ya there.

I need the piece before the MAF, but I need to put my IAT sensor in there some how.

That piece is most likely going to be a dealer item. I'd call Jason Cromer up.

I think what I will do is try that 3"x3" fernco rubber coupler and cut a hole the diameter of the IAT sensor. Then just poxy around the hole and that should hold the sensor in.

Problem is that it won't fit the airbox. Trust me, I have the setup. I think you'll need a 4" to 3" step, which I do believe they make, but don't quote me on that. I just have never gotten around to taking my airbox in and checking to see if the 4" would even be big enough.

This is what I'm doing now. I found a 3"x3" rubber coupler at Home Depot that fits really snugg on the throttle body. Then the MAF fits on the other end and I already had a rubber piece from my MAF to my CAI, so I will just use that to connect the MAF to the ram air box.

Oh yea........I'm such a dumb ***!! After looking over my ram air box I found a hole in it. So I was looking around Home Depot today for something to plug that hole, when out of no were the idea came to me that the hole was there to put my IAT sensor in !!! I felt so dumb that I didn't notice it before, so that problem is solved

the 3" Fernco will fit over the Stock WS6 airbox port, I'm using 1 cut in 1/2 to mate the Z06 MAF to the Airbox, they're both the same diameter.

the Fernco does need heathing with boiling water before it will fit, but it works awesome.
