Getting a 96 Camaro B4C, i got some questions, please

Hey, I am getting ready to buy a 1996 Camaro B4C with 5,000 miles on the engine and tranny but 120K on the body. Here is a list of everything its got:
K&N Cold air intake, Trick flow elbow, Air foil, MSD 6 AL ignition box, MSD coil, MSD 8MM wires, NGK Platinum Plugs, 30 pound injectors, 160 degree thermostat, hyper power programer 3, Edelbrock headers, flowtech cut out, flowmaster american thunder catback with two 4" chrome tips, B&M shift kit, white face gauges, touch screen panasonic cd player, boston acoustic speakers all around, Tubular control arms both front and back, new alternator water pump radiator starter, Viper alarm, Red camaro inserts B4C badges, SS shocks, NOS 5177 nitrous kit(not installed), 16" Z28 wheels with Bridgestone Potenza tires

So it this all worth 6,000 dollars?

Thanks

If the car is already modded I wouldn't buy it, theres no more fun stuff to do and it probly has been beat on.

I agree with the rest. Buy something with more of a history and less mods. No fun in driving it but not being able to build it to your tastes. It's a challenge, too. You want to beat your last time and your next time, and so forth. Plus, buying something with less mileage and great mechanical condition helps in long term reliability and upfront operating costs.

Never seen a B4C with red insert badges. In fact I have NEVER seen any B4C badges on a true B4C.
Find one that is stock and will be worth more when you sell it.
My $.02 worth.

It's back!!!!!Be careful

Check out Item # 2466516123 on E-Bay.
It was on there a week or so ago and was supposed to of sold.
It's listed as a B4C, but if you look close there are Z28 badges front fenders and rear below the trunk.
I wrote to the guy and he said it had been used in police service, which DOESN"T mean it is a B4C!
I asked him to verify the door code as B4C but never heard back from him.
It well may be a B4C but If I was really interested I sure would check it out.
Make me wonder why it didn't sell 1st time.
Just info for all the B4C nuts, like me.
What do you think UHP Camaro?????

i think its a steal regardless if its a B4C police package or not. you probably will end up with most of those mods with another car anyway so just look at it as if the work is already done for you so you save money. just because a car doesnt have mods doesnt necessarily mean it wasnt "beat" on. 6k is a steal with a new engine/tranny as long as the work done on those weren't half assed.

B4Cs don't have badges. I had put regular "Camaro" badges on mine to make it appear to be a V6.

A Z28 is NOT a B4C. If it has leather or TTops, it is NOT a true B4C. B4Cs were NOT available with either leather or TTops. Look at the RPO codes in the glovebox, and see if there is a "B4C" option code listed, especially if the car has a manual in it. Most B4Cs were automatics.

A lot of police stations probably used just as many standard Z28s as B4Cs. Be very careful of what people tell you, and always verify the information for yourself.

My car has the B4C RPO code and came with CAMARO badges on it. I almost positve all early 4th gen B4C cars had the regular CAMARO bages on the like the 6 cylinder cars. I didn't put them back on when I had a minor accident, thought it looked cleaner. I know the car isn't a true Z28, but trying to explain to people what the car is got annoying, so I have a Z28 license plate frame and some other little things in the car that say Z28. Mine is a M6. All B4C's are going to be badged like 6 cylinder cars, early 4th gens have the CAMARO badges, later ones have nothing.

Hes got red B4C badges on the rear and on the sides behind the front wheel like the regular Z28 or SS emblem would be. He put then on there, he got them off ebay
