I really REALLY wish I could make automatic clips for my convertible top. For example.....I press the button on my car alarm remote and my windows will automatically roll down, the convertible top clips would unlatch and the top would go down all on its own.....then I hop in and speed away into the sunset. I know some newer convertibles have automatic latches, like the Lexus SC430, although it is a hardtop convertible. The window roll-down and convertible top motor could probably be rigged using a few delay timers...the only questionable part is the substitution of actuators in place of the regular latches, and whether or not the convertible top would align properly when you put the top back on. C'mon, I can't possibly be the only person that thinks this would be sweet!
