I run a third gen and I`m changing out my 700 for a 5 speed, I found a "great" deal on a t-5 out of a 95...is this from a six banger, I was just told 93-97 z`s got the 6 speed, and the six cylinder cars got a five, is this true or not?

 

yes, sixers only have 5 speeds while z's got the 6 speed

V6's have the 5 speed
V8's have the 6 speed
