need help installing 1993 afpr

need help installing 1993 afpr

i know its suppose to be on the passenger side for 93s, but i cant even see the thing. do i have to take off my fuel rails to put the new one in? and if i do how long and hard is that to do? thanks

it should take about 10 min to pull the fuel rail off.

I just did this. You have to pull the rails to get it apart. Have lots of rags handy, as fuel will be spilling. MAKE SURE you relieve the pressure in the system first.

The regulator is on the passenger side at the back of the fuel rail. It's pretty easy once you have the rails out. Also a good time to replace the EGR if you need to because it's impossible to tighten the passenger side bolt on it due to the fuel accumulator being in the way.
