I have a ram air hood and a moroso CAI right now. I've seen that people have gotten the camaro ultra-z hood to fit an ls1 ld and lower airbox, but has anyone done this with a firebird? I can get a lid/lower airbox and k&n for less than $100 and I think it will perform better than the CAI.. while a lt1 "ram air" box and filter is really expensive so just wondering if anyone has tried this.

 

I don't really know, infact I'm still in the process of getting my LS1 setup to fit. I had to modify to underside of the airbox because the LS1 radiator support is different....

But my hood won't shut... (LS1 SS Hood)
