Red face Vibration at speed and funky electrical

I've got a 94 z-28 with an automatic tranny. I have a couple questions. How much vibrations do your cars normally create. WHen accelerating hard on the highway my car vibrates like a mother****er when it gets passed 3200 RPM. The vibration stops when the car shifts again. This usually happens at around 95 MPH. WHen accelerating lightly the same thing happens at around 115 miles per hour. The vibration actually scared someone who was drving my car. Is this normal for the LT1 it didn't happen to my six banger. The second problem came when starting the car. I heard a whining noise and saw the voltage drop on the gauge. The noise stopped and the voltage went back up. Then it started and the voltage dropped again. This happened once more and then my service engine light came on. I turned the car off and it started fine. The car was at a temp of about 150 degrees. Thanks for any ideas.
