long tube question, and spray can coating??

hi guys,
im looking at possibly buying the pacesetter full lenght headers, and was wondering,if i was to buy them uncoated, and sprayed that coating stuff,"like paint can stuff", on them, would that help with the heat at all?im a little worried about starter heat sock, what have you guys done with this?i can buy the headers coated, and with a "Y" pipe for 550 ish, does anyone know how the spark plug access is with pacesetter longtubes,or with long tubes in general,i know i would need to buy o2 sims, and have the factory front o2's made longer, but other than that, what else would need done if anything?thanks alot.
phil

p.s. im keeping air,and egr,and by deleting the cat's,will my car throw codes on the ses light?and will it still pass smog,it would be a stock car with full exhaust system, thanks alot.

The paint won't help with heat at all. But it does stay on if properly applied. Is there anywhere in your area that does ceramic coating. That's the only real way to keep heat down.

yeah the spray in the can is not so hot, but for 6 bucks and a couple of hours you can't complain about the results you get. Ceramic is the way to go.
