Spec Flywheel

Okay....I know allot of people on this board hate SPEC blah blah but I have a SPEC STage 2 Clutch and I brought it because I like SPEC.

So after my Clutchtacular Tranny problems I've realized...um yeah my Flywheel definantly has had it...screw shimming if I'm pulling the tranny...*sigh* again....I'm dropping in something better.

Now I want to stick with the same manufacturer for my tranny parts. I know that Fidanza...SLP...& SPEC pretty much are the Flywheel options......but SLP doesn't have the removable surface like the SPEC and Fidanza clutches...but thier price is the same so screw SLP....so Fidanza and SPEC are left.....Fidanza is like 450bucks so Screw em.....now we have SPEC left.... ALuminum or steel..I've asked this question on almost every Camaro site ever created... Aluminum makes launching hard... I'm more of a street/Highway racer type of guy...and I hate tranny dropping with a passion....but I heard You can get more HP to the wheels better with the Aluminum flywheel....but Screw it I don't got 380 to spend any more...so I'm down to the Billet Steel SPEC. It's 3lbs lighter than the stock flywheel....so I still get what I want and thier like 240bucks....so yeah okay that's cool.....

Allright now my quesiton....for those of you on here that have a SPEC billet Flywheel or billet flywheel...how do you like it? What differences did you notice with it? Do you have to cup your ***** and worry about stalling out in traffic? Is it smooth shifting?

Where's a good place to get one? Can 240 shipped be beat?
