Stall...you won't regret it. For a few extra bucks you can get a Midwest TC and some gears.

Two birds with one stone....also, what gears do you currently have?

Series 3 carrier I believe.

Do stalls lower HP?
Also what's the difference between lock up and no lock up???
Which should I get?

Get the TC and some gears. It will be the most noticable, and improve your 1/4 mile times the best.

With the TC you will see more drivetrain loss so you will loose a few hp but it is well worth the loss of a few ponies.

They do create more drivetrain loss as far as i know. Even though you not actually loseing hp. That would make you loss a couple hp to the wheels.

Agreed, Stall
I put a 2800 fig (lock up) In my bone stock car, and dropped 9/10ths 14.3 to 13.4

Get a lock up converter, it drops you into much lower rpms, on the freeway, it almost acts as a second overdrive

I'd probably do the heads, but I have a M6, so a stall wouldn't help me

I wouldn't go over 2800 with a hotcam... 3.73's and a 2800 lockup vigi would do you righteously. Otherwise I would say long tubes but you already got em. How about a healthy dose of the old giggle gas? There is a local guy going out of business selling nx kits with accessories for real cheap. www.norcal-ls1.net in the for sale section.

just do the gears and the converter and the throttle body if you have enough money but get a 24-2800 stall nothin bigger because your power band isnt that high.

I should really edit it, It's a self job, I removed the casting bumps and flaws, and had a 3 angle vavle job while the heads were milled and put together. So not much...
