Rear sway bar w/35mm front?

What do you guys suggest for a rear bar to go with the 35mm front? I plan on autocrossing next season and I was thinking of going with the 21mm bar? What do you guys suggest?

I like my 21.5mm LG Motorsports bar but others use the 19mm bar. It really depends on your driving style.

So should I try out just the 35mm bar with my stock shocks first, to see what the car feels like with that and the 19mm, then decide if I need to go stiffer? How much was your 21.5mm bar from LG motorsports?

I would try the 35mm first. It doesn't really overpower the stock rear bar like you might think it would.

I don't remember what I paid, they only sell them as a pair the best I can tell. The pair sells for $329 but you don't want the front 32.5mm hollow bar. I had it and it wasn't big enough.

Try the front bar first and see what you think. I know you'll love it!

It depends on how loose you like the car. I swapped back and forth between the 19mm and 21mm rear bar this year, and prefer the 21. The car rotates more, but is more controllable for me.

I have the 35mm sway bar with the Koni SA and Eibach Pro-Kit together with a Random Technology Torque Arm, LG three point Strut Tower brace and an adjustable panhard rod and the car handles like a dream. I do have the stock rear bar.

I would recommend installing the 35mm bar keeping your stock rear bar and then make a determination if you need a larger rear bar. I suspect you will be happy with the rear bar after installing the 35mm bar up front. Save your money for other mods.

Ok, thats what I'll go with then, the 35mm front, making the call to Sam on Fri (payday). I will probably go ahead and get the rag-joint elim also to try to tighten up some play I have in my steering. I had the tie-rod ends replaced when I had it aligned a few months ago, so I know the play isnt from that.

What do you guys think about going ahead and getting the SLP take off rear shocks for now, I have a lot of looseness/wheelhop in the rear suspension and just want to fix that till I can replace everything. For $25 it wouldn't hurt right?

PS: I'm not going to do the front, because the front is too much work to do, I will probably wait till I can get Koni front/Bilstein rears and straight rate coil overs before I do the front.

i just received my set of take off wheels and tires from SLPs clearance rack.

I got four firebird five spoke 16x8 wheels with 245 RS-A tires for $619 delivered. The tires still have the teats on the tread so i think they are legit when they say 5 miles. I know it took about 50 gentle miles for the teats to wear off my winter sports.

I've run both the 19 and 21. I think I'm going to stick with the 21. It really depends upon how you drive and what your courses are like. Another BIG factor that nobody mentioned is your differential. With an auburn that isn't new you'll have a hell of a time running the 21. I had to run the 19 with my old aubrun but switching to a torsen allowed me to run the 21. When I get a T2R to replace my T2 the 21 will be even better.

Yea, I've run both the 19mm and 21.5mm and like my 21.5. I like a more neutral handling car anyway.

I just can't understand why Sam won't GIVE me a T2R????

I like the 21 too. Before my car was perfect but power-on oversteer was awful until I replaced my diff. IOW, it was more neutral with the 21 but awful on corner exit because of the weak diff. I don't know what's up with Sam-I refer people to him and he won't ship me a T2R for free. C'mon Sam donate a T2R to me it's tax-deductible and you'll help those less fortunate with a lead-foot.

LG Motorsports sells the 21.5mm but I don't know if they'll sell them seperately. I use to have their 32.5mm (hollow) on the front but it wasn't as stiff as I needed so I sold it.
