ok im my a4, almost every time when it shifts from 1rs to second, the rear of the car will slide to the left about 4-6 inches if not more and burn a bit of rubber. its a pretty major chirp

how much will this hurt my 1/4 mile time?

 

maybe get some new tires and it wont happen

 

Depends how much your spinning, are you spinning on the launch? Each shift, just chirping 1-2 with some tire spin shouldnt be worth more than .1-.2

 

no it wont spin on launch, atleast ive never got it to unless im goin around a corner or over a speed bump for some reason

but that stuff isnt at the track.

i dont think its my tires really, hehe w/ my friends car he chirps 2nd-3rd im so impresed flying down at 80 mph lol hes got a shift kit, headers & exhaust tho

 

Newb.... yes its your tires dude. Do you have a shift kit in there???? It aint nothing else but tires you need. I'd say a tenth with a lil chirp and spin....2 tenths with spinning the tire.

 

Probably won't chirp at the track... my car barks 1-2 on the street even w/ the nitto's.. but not on the track
