Where to buy mild steel tubing?

I am going to make a torque arm for my Formula and was wondering where the cheapest place to get 1.25 .120 wall tube? The metal shop from my town closed its doors this summer so I don't know where to get steel from now.

Try a local machine shop, as they usually have some on hand or can get it.

FWIW, I wouldn't personally go to the trouble of building a T/A for what they cost. You could spend many dollars trying to build one depending on your skills/tools/equipment. Just my .02.

Thanks, I will check around the shops in town. I have a good welder that is ready to do this. I am on a budget so I can not afford to buy a TA right now and I have to have one. The y-pipe is too big for the stock TA. Plus we have some good ideas about building it.
