currently i have the stock stamped rockers on my lt1.
I believe there 1.5 ratio?
what would it take to go to a 1.6 ratio roller rocker?
are there any probs that i will encounter?
do i need to go to higher spring pressure?

Yes, stock they are 1.5 and you should be alright with stock valve covers, depending on the rockers. Get some new springs and retainers also.
