I just talked to Jason and he said that opti was $299 + $8 shipping.... did you guys that payed $230-$240 shipped do anything to get the priced knocked down? Im not really complaining because thats still cheap but Im just wondering... because I dont know if he added tax to that price, but if he didnt it will come out to like around $330... thanks again for your help

I'm in the same boat. I have made a few calls these last few days and it seems there was a recent price increase... yee hah. Cheapest I've been quoted was $275 plus shipping, so I ordered it.

Assuming you are referring to a non-vented opti, which cost even more than the vented style. I just performed the vented 95 up opti conversion on my 93 LT1 at the same time I done cam swap. I still have the non-vented opti I removed (fully functional). The opti was sealed in plastic bag and stored after removal (not chunked in the corner of my workshop). Approximately 8000 miles on this used opti unit. Anyways, I will be happy to sale it to you if you are in a tight. How about $60.00 including shipping? Email at sell214@bellsouth.net if interested.

The non-vented ones are ~$300 even from Dal or Jason.

Everyone jumps in on these threads and exclaims how cheaply they got one, giving no regard to whether a person is looking for a vented or non-vented. The non-vented is more expensive.
