im not sure

im not sure exactly what is wrong with your car, but i had something similar to that happen to me. Soon after it started to do that, the trans seal broke and the new pump in the trans died. it would rev up to the red line and just bounce there, till it felt like shifting. If your car is only reving up to like 4500rpm and not reaching the redline, you should try fuel injection cleaner cuz its not your trans, your car wont shift untill the redline at full throtle. Hope this kinda helps

Transmission problem

i think you need a rebuild... check for the obvious symptoms... burnt fluid.. etc
