my 94 z28 only has three speakers two in the front and the one in the rear, i was wondering if anyone else has encountered this.
I would also like to know if i could put some in the middle , and how i would do that.

Pray you don't have the Bose system. It doesn't sound like you do, but I wasn't aware of any camaros, that only have 3 speakers. I have 5 stock speakers, doors, rears, and a factory sub on the drivers side of the trunk.
If you do have the bose system (on your stock radio, see if it says bose) you have to get a factory replacement speaker, because the impedence of the speaker is (I think) 2 ohms. Most aftermarket speakers are 4-8 ohms.
EDIT: I have the bose system, with an aftermarket radio (have to buy a special adapter to comply with the bose system) and I have a sub and an amp. See sig.

The OEM head unit sends a preamp sigonal to each speaker location. There is a seperate amplifier at each speaker, that amplifies the sigonal for that specific speaker. So if you want to replace any of the speakers, you have to replace all 4 (and probably lose your factory sub) and rewire the car for all 4 speakers.
The reason for this is the impendence doesn't match up. Also when you don this, you don't need that adapter they made you buy to lower the power from your aftermarket head unit.
Does this help? Kinda sucks doesn't it.
ya it is the bose, but thats ok all i wanted to know was if it would accept two more speakers, cause all it has are the ones in the door and the one in the trunk. now i have to go find some.
Thanks
Thanks
Yes he does have the bose system. 94 and maybe 95 have 3 speakers. Best thing to do is replace the radio, the two door speakers, add two rear speakers in the B-pillars (there is already a cut-out and grilles there, get rid of that POS so-called subwoofer ( it's really a mid-range speaker) and re-wire the whole system. Then if you want to really get some good bass, add a "real" sub-woofer in the back. Several company's make custom fit boxes, i installed the MTX 10 sub in the left corner of the rear compartment. It's custom made and you don't even know it's there.
ps: the speaker wiring is not that hard, you can do it in a day.
