Will 3000 vig.,new 3.42's,and LT's satisfy me for awhile?

Had the pleasure of finding all these things within the same week or two. I know I'll probably need some better tires. But I want to make sure this combo of mod's will give me the kind of boost in performance I'd expect. Is there something else I should throw in the mix or will I be happy for awhile? Like is there another mod that would really complete the choice of combo? Also I have a B&M tranny cooler and Trans-Go going in at the same time. Plan to get the PCMforless program for my computer to so I can tune everything. Input greatly appreciated.

I think you will be very happy with that combo.
I did a shift kit and 3.73s at the same time and it was alot more fun to drive, really woke the car up. Now I have a rebuilt tranny and a TCI converter in the car with LTs and those same 3.73s and the car is an absolute blast to drive.
Get it all together, I think you will really enjoy that setup.

i remember the feeling of my LTs when I got them done. I can't imagine how I'd respond to a converter and better gears on top of that all at once Go for it!

Like I said earlier I figure I will need tires. I'm buying some 17's next. I have an opportunity to buy some tires off of my buddy pretty reasonable. I was going to use them for the rears since the tread is only about half. Then just buy some new ones for the front from Tirerack. But I'm wondering instead of spending the cash on those tires just to turn around and need stickier tires. Should I just go get nitto's right off the bat and do it right the first time? I'm sure it will be very fun, but I don't have a feel as to how the car is going to perform after everything is installed. So I'm looking to people with experience in similar mod's to give me some insight. Thanks

That's the kind of power I want. It's enough to put a smile on my face, but it's still not enough to make me completely happy. Always in search for more. Seems like it never ends.....and ya know, I like it that way.
